In recent years, we’ve grown closer, examined each other, experimented, loved and hated, tasted excellent wines, and produced wines of “questionable” quality.

A few decades ago, Chinese demands were minimal and almost absurd, focusing on red or white color, alcohol content, and especially low prices.

Today, the Chinese market has evolved; it is curious, loves wine, and increasingly appreciates excellence. Meanwhile, relations between Europe and China have become more direct, especially regarding wine.

Frequent visits to fairs and events have led to the discovery of many wines, the exploration of indigenous varieties, and a growing appreciation for European winemaking, which now meets the new demands of importers and buyers.

Over the years, “Zosimo Wine Critic” has supported numerous producers with ratings for many wines and extra virgin olive oils. In the second half of 2024, we are reorganizing to better meet new demands more quickly and efficiently, as modern times require.

New Headquarters for “Zosimo Wine Critic” in the Heart of Shanghai

We are excited to announce the establishment of our new headquarters in the vibrant city of Shanghai, located in the central region of the vast continent. Over the past few years, we’ve assembled a team of highly skilled collaborators here, and this will also be the home of a new “Training Center” dedicated to wine and food culture.

Always committed to communication, promotion, and the appreciation of fine drinking, the new “Zosimo Wine Critic” guide is now adapted and translated into Chinese.

Additional activities and updates will be communicated as this exciting journey unfolds.
