Papaz, named after a clayey, mineral, and salty water, gives its name to this wine. The label design comes from a stone found during the excavation to establish the new winery by the Belba brothers.
The color is an intense ruby red. On the nose, it is penetrating, with aromas of ripe wild berries, blackberries, black mulberries, and sour cherries. It offers an underbrush bouquet where intense vegetal notes blend with a dark, rich, and persistent body, featuring balsamic and licorice notes, and finishing with a light, pleasant hint of vanilla.
On the palate, it is direct, persistent, intense, and refreshingly vibrant. The velvety tannins envelop and captivate every taste bud, with its intensity perfectly balanced with the olfactory profile. It is well-blended, releasing pleasant and enveloping sensations in the mouth.
This outstanding wine results from an important blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Kabjuro, combining two international varieties with a local one. Its 15% alcohol content is perfectly integrated, providing longevity and making it a wine suitable for investment.
