The 2026 edition of “The Best Pink Wines – Zosimo Wine Critic” came to a close in Venice on 27 June, bringing together 50 Italian wineries and more than 200 wines recognised among the finest Italian pink wines.
The event had the atmosphere of a true celebration. Hosted at the Park Hotel Ai Pini in the unique and world-famous lagoon city, the day shone a spotlight on outstanding pink wines that, with dedication and consistency, honour the territories from which they originate.
Market trends and future perspectives were discussed by industry experts during the morning conference. Luciano Cescon offered a detailed analysis of how the growth of Prosecco Rosé is driving a completely new and increasingly international market. Stefano Tofanelli highlighted how innovative winemaking techniques are the key to a future shaped by great pink wines. Concluding the session, the host and driving force behind the event, Carmelo Sgandurra, confirmed how pink wine is now one of the most contemporary and versatile wines on the international stage.
The official rating list was published online on the dedicated platform and immediately attracted the attention of importers and distributors, to whom the Zosimo Wine Critic network makes the results available.
